Jamie Harris is a glassmaker living in New York.

His work featured in CAST is called Layered Infusion Block in Reds and Golds. Jamie's sensitivity to color and his unique approach to combining glassblowing and casting allow him to create ethereal works unlike anything else.

Reminiscent of agate, each piece in the Infusion Series feels like its own world - the depth of the colors and forms and the sense of space within the block makes you feel like you could lose yourself inside them. We love these vibrant pieces and are so excited to have one in CAST.

Jen Townsend

JEN TOWNSEND has an MFA from SIU Carbondale in jewelry and metalsmithing. In addition to being a studio jeweler and author, she has taught at Penland School of Crafts and at Millersville University, among others, and has served on the Board of the Society of North American Goldsmiths. Townsend’s work is in the permanent collection of the Imperial War Museum. She co-authored the award-winning book, CAST: Art and Objects Made Using Humanity's Most Transformational Process with Renée Zettle-Sterling in 2017.
